An object-installation through which I define the complexity of the human being. At birth, the first thing we receive is a slap … If we do not cry, we are not alive! Baby! Don’t Cry deals with gender-based violence, race violence, child abuse, abuse of power… but it also questions our ability to remain silent, our ingenuity to disguise pain with joy, to forget; in other words, how cowardly and masochistic we are.
