BIO

NAIVY PÉREZ (b.1986, Cuba)

Multidisciplinary Artist and Designer currently based in New York City. Her work is the result of shared experiences, through artistic and experiential processes, at the limits of control structures that, for thousands of years, have conditioned the individual consciousness. Pérez’s proposal finds its parallels in time, social discourse, gender discourse, religion, politics and the economy; themes that the artist symbolically redefines through drawing, painting, sculpture, object, photography, installation, performance, intervention, environment, video art and net art.
